The 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Social Transformation and Scientific Progress was held at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in collaboration with the Research Consultancy of Social and Management Development (RCSMD). The conference provided a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academicians, policymakers, professionals, practitioners, and students to exchange knowledge and discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence in social transformation, scientific advancement, governance, education, innovation, and sustainable development.
In the contemporary era, artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping societies, institutions, research practices, and public systems. Therefore, this conference offered a timely academic forum to explore the opportunities, challenges, and ethical dimensions of AI-driven change. The conference theme emphasized the responsible use of artificial intelligence for inclusive development, social welfare, evidence-based decision-making, and scientific progress.
The conference received more than 700 abstracts from around the world. After a rigorous peer review and screening process, selected abstracts and papers were accepted for presentation and inclusion in this proceedings volume. The accepted contributions represent diverse areas, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, social sciences, management, education, public policy, innovation, community development, and interdisciplinary research.
The conference was honored by the support and presence of distinguished academic and public figures, including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab; Dr. Aamir Sohail, Managing Director, RCSMD; and Prof. Dr. Uzma Ashiq, Head, Department of Social Work. A special address was delivered by Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab. The participation of Mr. Muhammad Shahid Iqbal, Director General, Punjab Probation and Parole Service, further enriched the conference by highlighting the relevance of research, governance, rehabilitation, and social development.
The Editors sincerely appreciate the organizing committee, scientific committee, reviewers, session chairs, authors, presenters, volunteers, and all participating institutions for their valuable contributions. It is hoped that this proceedings volume will promote interdisciplinary scholarship, responsible innovation, and meaningful collaboration for the advancement of society, science, and knowledge
