This research investigates the influence of family income and access to resources on educational attainment, specifically focusing on the mediating role of motivation. The study employs a quantitative research design, grounded in the positivist philosophy, with a deductive approach to theory testing. The population for this study comprised students enrolled at Thal University Bhakkar, with a total population of 6,000 students. A sample size of 300 students was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using structured surveys, and data analysis was performed using SPSS and SMART PLS-SEM. The findings of the study reveal that family income has a significant and positive effect on educational attainment. Furthermore, motivation is identified as a key mediating factor, enhancing the influence of family income and access to resources on educational attainment. This study underscores the importance of developing education policies that address income disparities and resource limitations to promote equitable learning opportunities. The insights are particularly valuable for parents, educators, and policymakers in designing interventions that foster motivation and improve academic performance, especially for students from underprivileged backgrounds.
